Under the guidance of a Campus Pastor Chaplain, Bible study sessions are made available to the University of Pittsburgh (PITT), and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). This white page web site provides basic information for those wishing to begin or improve their Christian experience. What used to be understood as traditional Christianity has been significantly redefined by scholars, educators, and theologians with new agendas. Since 1800, those who might be identified as Naturalists, Humanists, Atheists and Evolutionists have infiltrated many segments of life. They were less than satisfied with Biblical historical presentations. Such historical presentations prevented them from serving Atheistic purposes. Traditional historical interpretations led to conclusions that mankind is accountable to the infinite, omnipotent Creator. This difference is sometimes spoken of as conflicts of cultures. Two basic world views are becoming sharply at odds with each other. Some publications are describing these as cultural wars. Into the 1970's and early 1980's the opponents of Christianity staged a revolution against creationist viewpoints in the name of academic freedom. Since that time, they continue such academic freedom mantras. But in reality these same proponents have done much to squelched true freedom of discussion using the power of governmental law and manipulation of the courts. This is true in elementary, secondary schools, colleges, research and industry. It is even evidenced by the drumming out of professorial and scientistific professionals on campuses, in education in general, and in industry. A documentary film about this problem entitled "Expelled" is currently playing in local theaters. College students, staff on today's campuses and members of our churches seem ignorant of the strong arguments which support Biblical viewpoints. Many do not appear to even know what is the purpose, relationship, and business of the local church. They fail to read the Bible and plainly understand its meaning in the same straight forward manner as they might read and understand their newspapers and textbooks. It is the purpose of this campus pastor web site to bring clarity to these issues. .
